The stripes return for 2018 Battery home kit

Unveiled at last night’s Season Ticket Holders meeting, the Battery have a new home kit for the 2018 season.

The stripes return after a one year hiatus, as last year’s kit featured black line accents.

The new kit features the usual Black and Yellow top, with black shorts, and black socks, and unlike the kits used from 2013-2016, the Black and Yellow stripes go all the way down the back of the kit as opposed to a black square to go where the number is placed.

The kit also features a slightly darker yellow, where the yellow was bright in last year’s predominantly yellow kit. Stream.Live will continue to be our main sponsor for 2018, continuing our partnership into the new year.

The kits were available for pre-order last night, as the kits were just in from the supplier and had yet to be pressed. As some have said in reaction to the new kits, the stripes’ return has made this an especially attractive kit, and no doubt these will fly off the shelves when they officially go on sale.

The Battery begin the season this Saturday at home against FC Cincinnati.
