Battery sign Defender Rennico Clarke
Former Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City player Rennico Clarke is the latest to join the ranks of the 2020 Charleston Battery.
Clarke has USL experience at both of his previous American clubs, whilst also featuring for the Timbers first team in the US Open Cup.
He also has friends in the Battery camp already, having played in Iceland for FH with Black and Yellow players Robbie Crawford and Zeiko Lewis.
Clarke joins a defensive corps who were in need of reinforcement from 2019, having been hit the worst by the Battery’s injury troubles last year, especially having conceded 48 goals, and his experience in the league will only help along the way.
