Battery learn 2020 Restart Opponents

The Charleston Battery have been placed in Group H, along with Miami FC, Atlanta United 2, and Tampa Bay Rowdies to complete the 2020 USL season.

As per the regulations announced earlier this week, the Battery will face Atlanta three times, with the previous meeting to begin the regular season counted toward matches played in the tournament, and face the other teams four times. This will be the first time that the Battery will come up against Miami FC since their reintroduction into USL, whilst the Battery and Rowdies have their own fan competition to be played for outside of group play.

Whilst the season in this format will be far from perfect, being able to see out the campaign will be a welcome sight for every team in the league, both on and off the field. From that perspective, July 11th can’t come soon enough.
